Homemade Tortilla Chips
2-3 flour tortillas
1/4 cup of oil (vegetable, canola, corn, etc)
Heat the oil in a fry pan. While the oil is heating, cut the flour tortillas into triangles. When the oil is hot (the handle of a wooden spoon will cause the oil to bubble) add the tortilla triangles 4-6 at a time. They cook super fast, so stay near by and turn over using tongs after about 2 minutes. Remove from oil and drain on some paper towels. While they are still hot sprinkle with kosher salt and enjoy! These are also good with my guacamole recipe.
